Projects

These are open-source projects I build or help look after, in the order I’d show them to you. Most are still moving, so expect the details to change.

    django CMS

Lean enterprise CMS, powered by Django.

An open-source content management system built on Django, used by enterprises, universities and agencies. It is governed by the django CMS Association, a non-profit run by volunteers. I have been a core developer since 2014.

    Better Helpdesk

    Your helpdesk, inside your app.

An open-source support inbox, ticketing and lightweight CRM you install from npm. It runs in your Next.js app, on your own database (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server or SQLite), behind your own login. No seats to count and no paid tier: a library, not another app.

    Fretfall Player

An arcade-style note highway in the browser.

Open a tab and play along: the notes fall down a 3D fretboard, with hand positions and fingering worked out for you. Add the band’s recording and the player lines the tab up with it. Phrase loops, a speed trainer and a metronome for practice, and a tablature and notation page beside the highway. Plain HTML and ES modules, no framework, no runtime dependencies, about 70 kB gzipped.

    Kurszettel

The old stock quote sheet, for your own portfolio.

A daily, weekly and monthly read on the tech market and your own portfolio, built as one static site. Every stock gets a 0–100 score you can trace back to its inputs, the keep, sell or buy calls take what you already hold into account, and every page puts the market in context. Standard-library Python, no API keys, no database. Not investment advice.

    dotfiles

My personal dotfiles for macOS and Linux.

The scripts that set up and maintain my machines: one installer for a fresh macOS or headless Linux system, and dotfiles -u to keep everything current afterwards. Fork and review before you run them.

    flowrail

Guardrails for Claude Code that hold.

A PreToolUse hook that parses every command before it runs, and that the agent cannot quietly switch off. Out of the box it blocks destructive git, rm -rf outside the project and writing secrets, and asks before pushes and before an MCP tool sends, merges, deletes or pays. The guard also guards itself against edits to its own rules. A bypass corpus runs in CI.

    claude-annotate

Draw on the page. Claude fixes the code.

A Claude Code plugin. Mark up your running localhost site in the browser with pens, arrows, boxes and numbered notes, press Send, and every mark lands in the session that opened the page, with the element, its React component and source line, and a screenshot under each one. Progress comes back onto the page as Claude works. Local only, no cloud.

    claude-tips

One Claude Code tip after every turn.

Claude Code has well over a hundred slash commands, and most people find maybe fifteen. This plugin shows one more each time Claude finishes a turn, in order, so you see all of them before any repeat. The tip never enters the conversation, so it costs no context.
